Just wondering, does anyone else feel an increase in symptoms during allergy season? Both my son and I have IC and we are WAY more symptomatic right now. Just need to know we are normal with respect to IC.
Personally, I didn't notice that my allergies made my symptoms feel worse - except for my food allergies which definitely contributed. I have very mild responses to pollens, etc., though. I suspect that you are experiencing something that is very common to IC patients.
That being said, having gone through the program successfully, happily, I can report that:
a) Even my food allergies are much less impactful to my body overall than they were before I was diagnosed with IC
b) Most of my allergies have dissipated to the point that I don't notice them
c) Despite being surrounded by people with colds and flus (including my husband on numerous occassions) and traveling a great deal over the last two years I haven't had either a cold or flu.

In your body, everything is related.
