I reflected today as I drove away from our clinic and went over all of my interactions with each patient . I thought to myself how vast the difference is between each person's struggle toward wellness. And, what a journey it is for everyone.
There was a brand new patient holding on to each new piece of information, an ongoing patient who has really turned a corner with a combination that is a stretch of my own understanding, and a very old patient who came back because she realized that she had not been caring for herself well and was headed back towards illness.
