A shared Story

W. B.- Indiana- My story

Introduction- I am a pharmacist of 25 years. . I almost died 2 times at 6 months and 2 years old due to bronchitis. History of childhood asthma and allergies and many years of allergy shots and antibiotics for bronchitis, Allergic to grass, trees, mold, weeds, cats, dust, etc. I also took about 10 years of tetracycline on and off for acne.

Cholesterol

In my dissertation there is a theory of "compensation" that I discuss where the body produces more fluids (in many forms) to protect the body from the damages that have occurred over time. Cholesterol is one example of such fluids and is a reason why many people with chronic problems have high cholesterol. And, I argue that often it is this dynamic that elevates cholesterol rather than a bad diet. I just found this page, which, discusses this concept from a different point of view-I stumbled upon it this morning. It shows a few books with authors who appear to have like-minded opinions. I am betting these are some very good reads! http://www.shirleys-wellness-cafe.com/cholesterol.htm#a

Salt

I always recommend sea salt and not table salt for these reasons. I have not compared himilayan sea salt to other sources of sea salt, but, this article is a great one on the issue of table salt vs. sea salt.http://products.mercola.com/himalayan-salt/

Copper Arizona

Many of you know that I recommend not using standard hair dye products due to toxins in these products, and alternatively I recommend the ones in the health food stores. I have used many of them for years as have many of my patients over time-all with great results. I have not observed any negative effects from these products. However, recently I have had a situation with one patient who also had used a particular color of Naturtint and then changed to a different color and it seemed to have made her unwell. I am trying to figure out from the ingredients why that may have been, and think that it has to do with the fact that it produces a very red color and the ingredients necessary to produce that color is the reason behind that.

Bacteria in the Gut

I think I have posted on this subject more than most people want to read on it, but, this is yet again-a really nice article coming from another point of view. This is the great thing about research-there is always another view:) But, really, read this! It is short, but to the point, offering some really nice insight. http://www.economist.com/node/16740669

Protocols

Please be careful to not take probiotics differently than how I have explained. For example, if I have asked you to combine them with a formula or away from a formula, this is really important in terms of not activating your pain levels. An easy mistake-very common, and it just happened again today
is buying powder instead of caps. If the form changed, the effects can change. This is true of everything!
If something is processed differently, it changes how it effects your body. In the case of probiotics, Natren caps contain powder with 3% vitamin C whereas the non-encapsulated powder contains 53% vitamin C. This difference can be critical to your pain levels and the success of your treatment.

Another Source Of Toxins

It has been researched over the years that SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome) may be linked to mattress toxins. Chronic illness and mattress toxins have also been connected. I am not suggesting that mattress toxins are the cause of IC, but, every added toxin in your direct environment can be a contributing factor in your unwellness. Your Skin

Absorbs everything you put on it. So what you put on your skin is like what you put in your mouth. Don't expose it to anything you wouldn't eat! When you are cleaning your house and using products, even natural ones, wear gloves, and open the windows for good ventilation!

Don't use anti-bacterial soaps or hand-sanitizers. IF you are putting things on your children with your hands, you are absorbing it into your system. If you are using products on your hair, you are also absorbing it into your system. Be aware of everything you use so that you are not
exposing yourself too chemicals that will adversely affect you!

Exposure to unfriendly bladder substances relative to the condition of your body can escalate your pain tremendously.
