This is a list 3 recipe is just in from a sweet patient who took the time to share it. If you take out the parmesean-list 4 you can add it, UNLESS I have indicated the parmesean is ok for you.

Fundamental to our health is our sense of being protected and nurtured by our parents and our self worth is so tied into that dynamic as well.
This link is a bit off that topic, but, not really. I read this today and thought it was really lovely and wanted to share it for those of you with small children-especially daughters.
So much of what we do as women, as mothers, impacts our children in ways we don't even realize and this piece is so well put and a shining example of that.
Enjoy, Dr. M

OFten when my patients have babies and if they have problems instead of using the various probiotics for babies out there, I recommed using the adult ones in MINUTE doses with of course, the permission of the baby's pediatrician.
I typically wil start with lactobacillus acidophilus. This often will address colic and skin issues as a start to helping their immune systems. this is the beginning and I build from there.

I am posting prematurely on this, but, it is 6:30 am and I need to get this off my mind as I thinking about it. As everyone knows, Natren probiotics are my primary choice and has been over many years, although I do divert from time to time for individual reasons.

Interestingly, there is a huge incidence of IC with cats. Very strangely, my cat, who, I shamefully did not spay in time got pregnant and had a litter of not one, but, five kittens earleir this year. I found homes for all of them. The one I kept apparently has, yes, IC. So, I have treated him. He instantly responded positively, but then after about 10 days, began to have symptoms again. Then I realized, I had not changed his water. I did so and since then, which has been another ten days, there have been no symptoms.

Don't forget that when you eat fruit to eat it as a dessert on full belly. If you eat fruit on an empty stomach, it will make your symtpoms worse.
