Has anyone felt like they were having a heart attack? I had crazy symptoms a few days ago where I felt like I was having a stroke and my throat was closing up and felt like a rush going through my head and body and now the past few days I am having chest pains and aching right around my heart area and tonight felt like my body was going limp and I was going to faint. It is so scary. Now my left arm and leg feel like dead weight and the muscles are all tight and freaking me out. I can just sit here and then all of a suddend....it starts in my head and I feel this weird heavy fealing like my limbs and whole body go limp and I may faint. I have a crazy job and have an important day tomorrow and have to perform these technical training sessions for people and Have to be there so I can't go the hospital right now and am trying to just push through but I am getting scared. on top of it, I am on my period so my breast is also very sore and tender and my back as well so thought maybe the chiro did something last week and that is causing the chest pain...I am reaching for anything positive at this point and wanted to reach out to see if anyone had anything like this before.

Love and light,

Christina

I forgot to mention my bladder has been doing good just feel like I am dying everywhere else. Even right now my arms feel like they are not part of my body trying to type and I am swallowing a lot because I feel like my throat is closing and I can't breathe and my head is all loopy.

I am taking 1 SF722, 4 RP and 1/2 tsp cod liver oil as well.

Christina, they do sound like die-off and I agree very scary. I have had some of these with my protocol change. You might need a change to yours. Have you emailed your doctor?  We changed my several times this week now I'm having burning when I pee :( from what I understand sometimes our bodies have to accept or adapt to the change and other times it might be your body's way of saying its time for a change.  I will be praying for you today that you will be able to take care of your responsibilities at work.  I hope you feel better soon.

sF does crazy things to people! I would probably go to the hospital as soon as you can to get it checked out but it will probably come back as being die off. I have been experiencing major die off (read my previous post "rough patch -die off") i had numbessness , sever dizziness, etc. know you will get through this !!! Sending u good vibes!!!!

So sorry Christina! How long have you been on SF? I have read of similar symptoms and also, per her dissertation, as you start to heal the IC moves out to the extremeties so as crazy as this is, that is how your body is clearing this! Many of us have had IC a long time (I have, although no bladder sx until 2 years ago) so some of this stuff is DEEP inside you and has to be cleared. Try to remember you are doing the possible. You are healing from a chronic illness that western doctors say is incurable. Here is Dr. M talking about this. I know everyone has read this, but I think it is an important reminder:  "Patients will frequently encounter “die-off” symptoms that occur because toxins are given off with the elimination of elevated levels of microbes. This can occur anywhere in the body an it is important to understand because this can make the patient feel very sick, which they often confuse with becoming worse. Often those undergoing treatment will need to experience these symptoms in order to progress and get well. These symptoms may include rashes, cold or flu symptoms such as nausea, fever and chills, headache, sore throat, phlegm, vaginal discharge, unusually colorful bowel movement (with or without mucous), increased gas and bloating, etc. The possible symptoms are numerous, and these are only the basic few." You wil get through this. Keep in touch with Dr. M. Try, try, try not to panick.

Hi Ladies. Thank you all so much for your comments and prayers, I really appreciate them all. I am sorry i have not given an update, I have had more added to my plate and frankly can't handle it all sometimes. I have had this diease for a very long 20 years and it wears me down when my body adds additional issues on top of what I have dealt with for more than half my life. The heart pain is still there but less somedays than others. I have a dull aching pain in my chest and feels sort of like a balloon that needs to pop, it is very weird. If I walk a little way or move too fast my heart rate still picks ups and the pain worsens. I went to the doctor and had an EKG in the office and the test was good with my heart at rest. She wants a stress test to see what happens with activity but my wonderful insurance is making me wait at least 5 business days to approve it (if I go to the ER I don't have to wait but I prefer to avoid that place if I can. This crazy disease has sent me there too many times throughout the years with no findings of course....IC was the culprit but Who Knew!!) Anyway, I also have very sore breast and lots of swollen lymph in my chest, armpits and back which is pretty common for me especially during my period but this month is pretty bad and still suffering a lot. I have fibro cystic breasts as well so it makes for lots of fun lumps and knots and pain all along my chest bones that feels like cysts all over them so my doc did a breast exam and unfortunately, she felt something that was not good. I now have to go tomorrow to get a mammogram and an ultra sound because of my dense breast tissue they need both to try to compare and determine what is breast tissue and what is something bad. I am very scared to say the least. I have enough problems and know my body could not endure any type of cancer treatment when I barely make it day to day with my bladder staying calm. Please add me to your prayers that everything comes out ok, I would be so grateful. Prayer is powerful especially in numbers. I feel like IC has been my nightmare for so long but the additional issues that keep piling on with it make it really hard to keep fighting. Trying to not be anxious about this as you all know.....is a job in itself. God bless you alll during this journey as well

I will be praying for you Christy. I am so sorry you are going through such pain right now. I know this disease makes no sense at times. I cannot stand for very long or the inflammation will stir up in my intestines. I help clean our church every week and
that is the day I always have inflammation in my
intestines. Right now I have a slight pain under my
right rib cage when I breathe in or cough. I know this
could get worse, so I try to pay attention to what I eat
and how it affects it. I have had heart palpitations that
have woke me up, but not for a long time. I am going
through menopause so I know that can happen. If I
curl my toes, they totally get stuck. This happens
intermittently during the day. And my feet are in pain
especially at night if I don't take a magnesium once a
day. I have had head sores for years that have
recently just cleared One big success for me as I
have had these head sores for at least 10 years since
my primary care doctor said it was just acne on my scalp, but I had a feeling something was not right in my body. We are all on the right track to getting balanced. It is good you are getting everything checked out. I will be praying for you. A big hug to
you!

Christina, the fact that you are even working while in treatment is miraculous to me so pat yourself on the back for that.  When I read what some of you are going through it makes me want to push myself harder. I kerp saying so and so got through this so I can too. Some days just determinationgets me through. I will continue to pray for you. It would be wonderful if we knew we wouldbe making abig change soon but we know it doesn't work that way so I try to hold onto my faith.  Please continue to keep us updated...we are here for you.

THanks for the update. The chest symptoms are very related to yeast I think. And the heart symptoms seem very plausable with IC (I have had mild heart sx for 25 years). I have to remind myself: I had symptoms of IC (NOT bladder, but others) for 25 years. It is going to take a while to rebalance. Hang in there. One day at a time.

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You everyone for the prayers....They Worked! I am happy to say that I do NOT have breast cancer! I do however have the most cystic breast the radiologist has ever seen and have to keep a constant watch and doing daily breast exams for a while to try to "somehow" get familiar with all my lumps and bumps so I can notice anything that could be different. (I have so many hard rocks I can grab a hold of honestly, it seems impossible but I will do my best.) I don't have any extra weight on me so I have no fatty tissue in my breast...just cysts but thank "God" they are not cancerous and neither are my huge lymph nodes that they did ultrasound on for 30 minutes each armpit because they were so bad. I am a lumpy bumpy mess but No Cancer so I will take it. Prayer in numbers always helps and so again Thank You all so much. The heart pains I still need to get my stress test done but I had to reschedule it a few times because I now have more Die Off symptoms which is the much dreaded Sore and very Raw throat, ear pain, achey all over, hip socked pain, cough cough and more dry cough that burns my chest so bad and watery eyes, pressure in my head and burning in my stomach....the whole shabang! I have not had these die off symptoms yet and let me say it is no fun. Does anyone have any suggestions to soothe a raw throat that feels like knives have carved wounds into it and left it open to keep burning as the air touches it? It is so raw and dry and my chest is burning when I breathe and we can't use honey or throat lozenges....this stinks. I have no idea how I am going to sleep like this. HELP!!

Thanking God with you that there is no canncer -yay -hugs. So sorry about the die-off symptomsbut yay you are making progress there with it. Had the sore throats and cough many times before treatment so of course used cough drops etc. Am also eager to hear what others suggest might help. Maybe a humidifier? I always used Vicks on my chest but pretty sure thats gonna be a no.  Continued prayers that you feel better. That stress test is gonna be just fine too :) thanks for the update.

Good news and die off is good news too! Humidifier I have heard helps a lot. Sipping warm water while awake? It  will pass. I have had minor heart issues since I was 20. It was my FIRST IC symptom (unless you count acne). It comes and goes. The Dr. never found anything wrong with my heart. Ask Dr. B if there is anything about the heart that she can write about from a CM perspective. I asked Boaz about it once when he was treating my daughter, but it is very hard to explain.
