Hi All I have had joint pain (in my heels off and on for 20 years!) and my right knee got really bad about 7 years ago, after the birth of my second child. It is worse around ovuation (feels stiff and hurts a bit when I use it). I also injured this knee when I was a kid. Also my LEFT hamstring and left low-back get weird.

If you have any muscle or joint pain is it better/worse/ and where are you in treatment?? Thanks for sharing. I suspect this is one of the last things to go for me. My bladder is better but I still have frequency here and there and heel pain, knee pain, bloating and acne on my cheeks. Hoping this will start to IMPROVE MORE!!!!!

i had meniscus surgery on my right knee last may (i suspect the pain was ic related).  i now feel very similar pain in my left knee and have had a mri that shows no injury and my low back only on the left side gives me grief too.

i have no experience with how treatment will affect this.

Thanks Atraylor! It is always so erie to hear about people having similar pain that I just thought I had to live with forever and was just a "weakness" of mine. Now I realize it is bc of my imbalance. I hope it improves for both of us.Ihave head it does as gut heals.

Yes, yes, yes to all of them! I've just come off the phone to Dr. B., where I spent quite a long time telling her about my right knee pain (what's with the right knee pain for all of us??), right foot pain starting at the ankle (with a little bit of left foot pain also), muscles in limbs feeling very heavy and tender/sensitive. Heels are bad too. I am three years into treatment. I didn’t have any of these pains when this thing first started - the joint/muscle foot and knees stuff came on about a year and half ago. I've asked Matia about this before but can't totally remember the answer. However, I do remember that she said that the feet are the last to get better. My feet and knee are slightly better than a year ago. I literally couldn't walk at one point. Everything else for me if steadily improving - and I agree that for me, I can see my feet/knee being the very last things to improve completely. You're definitely not alone. We'll get there.

Right knee problem for me too. Went to rehab for a month but never totally got rid of the stiffness and swelling until I started treatment with Boaz. No problems with the feet :)

I too have awful joint pain. Have had surgery for meniscus and severe chondromalacia of my L knee back in college, and R knee chondromalacia is getting worse now. Also tendinitis in big toes and knees. Cringe to think had a cortisone shot late teens because of debilitating hip pain, was on crutches because couldn't bear weight through my L hip. I get severe radiating pain down both legs during period and things do seem to get worse leading up my period. I was a competitive dancer all my childhood and continued with competitive track, triple jump specifically, all through college, so have done quite a bit of damage to my poor joints. Dr. M says she can do a lot for joints, so hopefully once my insides start improving so will the joints.

Thanks everyone! Vin, I am 2 years in treatment and the heel pain and knee pain are maybe a little better too? It it good to know that it may take a while, as it is hard not to be discouraged. I see so many people in their 40s that can run (including my husband) and do all kinds of exercise and I feel limited. On top of all of our dietary restrictions, etc... this joint pain is really tough for me.Lucky I can walk, even 3 miles or more if I want, but there is a lot of exercise I can't do and it is frustrating!!

THanks Deir. What is UP with the right knee?? Is this the bladder merdidian? I thought that was the back of the leg.

Boaz randomly asked me today if I was experiencing joint pain.
