Ugh my children have the Molluscum Contagiosum

Need some advice on treating this rash for my kiddos.  It keeps spreading horribly!!!  The dr. says not to treat.  I've read that it can last anywhere from 2months to 2 years.   It's very itchy and spreading.  So far I've tried.  Grapefruit seed extract dilution.  Tea tree oil / witch hazel.    Nothing is working.  I just started the tea tree so I will give it a bit more time.   I'm just worried I'm going to get it!  I know this is small in the scheme of things.  I think I used up all my coping skills from having IC.   thanks xxooo

Hi Amina! I have no experience with this rash, but Dr. M has me out liquid goldenseal on all my itchies. Might be worth a try?! I don't really know though! Hope something helps 2 years sounds like no fun at all! Neither does the 2 months, but let's hope for that. Hope you find something that helps!

Hi Amina,

 

My daughter had this - my husband bought a solution online called 'Moluscum no more'. It's completely natural - just various essential oils (I'm pretty sure about that but it was a few years ago). It cleared it all up beautifully in a few days. We've never had a problem with this since.
