Why is it that some people can tolerate rice but not rice flour?  Also, some people can tolerate potatoes but not potatoe flour?  I recently added rice back into my diet but am not sure that I tolerate rice flour.

I am the same way.  I can

I am the same way.  I can tolerate brown rice, but no rice flour for me. I think a lot of people are like that.

Yeah

I have the same issue.  I tolerate rice, but not the flour.  I asked Matia at the last call, and she said the way its digested is different in different form.

A battle worth fighting ♥

Rice cereal caused flares

I have been able to tolerate rice.  Recently, I added rice cereal to my diet.  I ended up having tons of flares and didn't make the connection at first.  Matia said it was common to tolerate rice but not be able to tolerate it in various processed forms.
I have eaten only potates for the last few days and my bladder has felt so much better.  Tomorrow, I am going to try regular rice again.  If you have numerous flares, I would recommend trying to eat one grain for a few days before adding another one into your diet.
