Does anyone know if natural uncured bacon is ok for list 1/2?  I know pork is ok, so I am assuming bacon is too?

Thanks!

Bacon substitute

As I mentioned on another post,  I found something to replace it :)   You have to find certain brands though..   It is Priscuitto.   I buy either Kroger's Private Selection or Fiorucci brand (which is hard to find).  It is pork, cured in salt, not sugar (do not buy deli brands such as boars head! it has sugar in it)   That's it, nothing else in it.

Then I pan fry it and viola..   you can have a PLT!!! (if you can eat tomatoes).
It was SO good..didn't even need mayonaise..I just used butter on my toast.

I love fried chicken livers

I love fried chicken livers and wondered if they were allowed since they are a part of the chicken.  I feel like I could use some iron, but I'm not sure if they would be ok.  I baked one chicken and did another in the crock pot last week and ate one of the livers.  Not sure if it hurt me or not...my over all pain is so bad I really can't tell.  Has anyone else tried them?
