Would you kindly give me the top 1 to 3 books that have been most inspirational/supportive/informative along your journey to wellness?

This is for updating the website, compiling a list of resources.

Thank you all!!

I agree with Along the Healing Path

I agree with Along the Healing Path, its a really absorbing book.  I was following a lot of Catherine Simones ideas before I started with Matia but have put all my herbal teas away now that I'm in treatment.

I've just ordered your book Jeanette, only 1 penny second hand here in the UK.

You will love it

Read it with an open mind.  I got the dvd to go with it and it was very powerful.  I had to make sure that I did not become defensive while watching it, but accepted it with an open heart and mind in the hopes that I don't care what it takes or what I have to believe, but that I must get better.

Cath Simone's third book--I

Cath Simone's third book--I forget what it's called.  I know To Wake In Tears is first, then Along the Healing Path.  The third book--very interesting and thought provoking.  Deals more with the mental and emotional components of IC

I started with ICA books,

I started with ICA books, then Catherine Simone- healing path.  Then I read Cyctitis and IC, ....and Yeast-2 books by Angela Kilmartin from the UK (I thought both were excellent).  I checked out from the library candida cook books- Overcomming Candida- The ultimate cookery guide- Williams Xandria, and The Candida Albicans yeast-free cookbook- Connolly Pat.   They promote diets similar to Matias but each one is a little different.
I also loved The Allergy and Asthma Cure by Dr. Dean Mitchell MD- also has alot on Candida and a similar diet.
I have also read Matias dissertation and Interstitial Cystitis by Dr. Moldwin- the ICA (interstitial Cystitis Assn) original guide book. I also joined and get their magazines which are trending more wholeistic and alternative all the time. The issue I got this week is all about pain, music therapy, art therapy.
There are also some great yoga and healing type books.
The more I read, the more I see that most of them have similar ideas, but each has something new to learn.

Our library has so many health and diet books- it would keep you busy for years!

I order most of these from the library and pay for very few. Save your money for Matias appointments and herbs.  I started a support group and we share books and magazines too.
