After over a year of experimenting, I have finally figured out a recipe for biscuits, where they taste delicious and don't fall apart.  This is for those of us who CAN eat PLAIN YOGURT, BUTTER and RICE FLOUR. Be careful, it's hard to eat just one after you've eaten nothing but brown rice and potatoes forever! ;) I don't tolerate spelt or kamut, so these work well for me in place of bread!
2 cups Bob's Red Mill rice flour
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/3 cup butter
3/4 cup plain yogurt (organic or hormone-free)
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
3 tablespoons water.
Mix together ingredients well, then knead with hands.  Roll into balls, flatten and bake on a butter-greased pan at 475 degrees for about 15 minutes.

Thanks for posting - sounds good, will try it out. I'm in need of gluten-free recipes.

weeks

How many times can I make these per week?  What is everyone's judgement.  I keep making them, and I'm sure all of that butter cant be good.

Great job on this recipe! My gosh they come out good. I used spelt flour the last time (for those who can have it), and it came out very good. But cooked them at 400 for about 10 minutes.
Anway... thanks!
researchnerd.... I don't know? I am making them maybe 2 times a week, but made extra to have one with breakfast for my carb. It is a lot of butter, but not anymore than if you were putting a bunch on a baked potato...
