Hi everyone. My husband is having terrible allergies to cedar pollen that's just blown in over the last few days. Does anyone know how healthy people can handle these allergy symptoms in an herbal way? He has terrible sinus pressure and is very tired and weak. Any thoughts would be much appreciated! He's already done the sinus irrigation (Neti pot/bottle thing, with distilled water!), but it doesn't seem to be doing much...
My husband has used Homeopathics a lot for allergies and it has helped. For homeopathy it is based on particular symptoms so you can look it up based on him inparticualer. My husband uses ALlium Cepa which is indicated for a sneezy, watery eyes etc Liek you cut an onion. Not sure about sinus pressure.

Thanks deir. Dr. B had recommended using goldenseal in an alcohol base when I was having bad cold symptoms a couple of weeks ago. It really opened my sinuses up! So I had him do that and it has seemed to help a bit. He's still really tired and weak, but being able to breathe is an improvement! I guess they call it "cedar fever" here. I had never heard of it when we lived in PA/NY and NC, but it's a really nasty cause of allergies in TX! I'm still trying to learn about what non-IC people should do homeopathically for common issues like this. I have a lot to learn!!
