Hi, all!  My name is Brittany.  I am new to the forum.  I am 30 years old, and just got married last year.  I was diagnosed with a cystoscopy in 2006.  My only symptom for the last 9 years has been frequency...and never unbearable.  In November of 2014, I suddenly started having urgency and frequency.  Before November, I ate and drank EVERYTHING with no problems.  The urgency has been constant ever since November...I ALWAYS feel like I could go. This is the absolute worst part of IC.  I want to start the protocol, but I'm scared!  I have SO many questions.

I'm putting in to place the arrangments to fly out and see the Brizmans. I'm worried as my IC is so servere (I know this is not a competition but I am really very very poorly). I also have a lot of toxicity symptoms like tinnitus, my periods have stopped and i have eyefloaters as well as vulvodynia. I suppose this means the treatment will take a very long time. I've heard some people take about 8 years to get better and Im not sure I could handle being in this much pain for that long. Is anyone else a servere case and doing ok? How long did you take to improve?

My daughter has suffered with IC symptoms for almost 3 years. We have been everywhere and tried everything. It appears this group's approach holds promise, but I am so afraid to get her hopes up again for another devasting fail. Don't know if she could take another dead end.  We also have exhausted savings/ Want to be careful in choosing next option. Is it true one can no longer work with Dr. Brizman herself?

Just wanted to check in to share some positive progress, since I know that's always what motivates me to keep moving forward... especially when I'm not feeling well.

    I am going to go ahead and ask the hot button question of do you vaccinate, why/why not and have you found any merit in spacing them or getting away from the multiple-shot vaccines? I vaccinated my two girls- ordered them without thimerisol - although my understanding is that the flu vaccine still contains it. I made the " mistake" of looking up the ingredients in the vaccines and they are horrific. Would love thoughtful and information based opinions;) Thanks!

I'm wondering if anyone had tried or asked Matia if The Honest Company products are safe/good. It's a company started by actress Jessica Alba. She started with baby products, but now has a whole line for the body and home. They do seem to be really clean. The great thing is you can find them at Whole Foods and buy them on Amazon really easily (vs. the Bomasense line). Anyone have experience with the products?

Hi all! I wanted to ask you if someone has had a very bad flare when they brought a puppy home!?. I have been doing better but my anxiety and sadness are still bad. I decided to bring a puppy- a yorkie- and since then my bladder is bad. I am devastated bc i love him deeply . I have read that they can give allergies bc a protein on their saliva or skin. Can someone give me any thoughts pls. I dont want to give him away. This is so hard ...

Hi All, I've posted on here before about the horrific flare I've been in for going on 7 plus weeks. Well, last week, I tested positive for a UTI. I've never, in 18 years of having IC, tested positive for a UTI. Not once. It didn't even occur to me that my flare could be a UTI. And maybe it wasn't at first. Who knows? Well, my PCP has ordered Cipro. I DO NOT want to take Cipro or any antibiotics, period. BUT, this has been going on for a while ... I'm worried that at this point, herbs won't be able to cure it.
