This is an issue that I know nothing about and am completely unaware of until this moment. I do not know if it is regional or applicable across the states. But, a patient brough it to my attention, so I want to pass it on: http://www.ewg.org/release/reducing-arsenic-your-diet

In IC as with life, things do not generally happen for no reason- (sorry alot of negatives there, but, you get the point :) ).  When people flare, even if we dont understand why all of the time, there is a reason. When someone is flaring I go through the typical questions-what changed--food, water, hair/skin care, stress....Uusally people will say nothing. And, they really think--nothing! But, it ususally isnt nothing. It is almost always-something. Today a good one came up I wanted to share because it is such an innocent mistake. It is really easy to make.

I share my thoughts from time to time as many of you know. I am sorry if they seem to personal, but, I think all things are pertinent in life and to health and the way the body/mind works. So here is my thought today: Someone wrote me an email the other day and it reminded me how powerful the impact of our words and actions are and how important it is to touch someone with the power of your own being.

People often ask me if people relapse after doing well. And, the answer is yes, sometimes. I have had people go back to more than a little drinking, or they pick up serious sugar habits, or they go back on chmical birth control. These are the most common.

I want to make sure everyone knows that once you are able to add in sparkling water, it should not be used as a substitute for flat water. Sparkling water should be a "treat" water, as in a replacement for soda, not a replacement for water. Nothing hydrates your body like water! Our bodies are made up of somewhere between 68-90% water-there are different percentages in the various locations. And, we must replenish that supply constantly. Sparkling water is not capable of replenishing these fluids in the manner that flat water is.

This does not apply to most of you, but, since it does pertain to bladder problems, I thought I would post because certainly someone may find it of interest and relevent. There are many ways to alter the energy and balance in your body and doing so naturally may allow you to bypass the consideration of doing something as extreme as a surgery like this one:

This is an article about the cultivation of super bugs being caused by antibiotics, which, I completely agree with. The verbiage here is a bit strong and perhaps a little offensive to some, I am pointing the article out, I didnt write it! I dont agree with everything here, but, I agree with the general concepts.

When I saw those machines in the airport I thought they CAN'T be a good idea. I refuse to go through them, personally. I am very happy to be patted down, I have nothing to hide or be embarrassed about. http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2012/08/29/airport-bo...
