Since my blog the other day, I have recieved a lot of commentary on people whol are using bomasense and like it. Today someone sent me something I thought would be good to share.  She is using the lotion, yes, the lotion, as a leave in hair conditioner before she blow dries her hair. She loves it. I am not sure this would work for everyone, but, I thought I would pass it on just in case you want to try. It would be too heavy for my hair, I find the sampoo and conditioner is just right.  But, I do think this was pretty brialliant. I love using things off label:)

I wanted to remind everyone about hair and skin care products. Most of them are not great for peopls who have IC, as their immune systems are reacting with severe inflammation to an enormous amount of substances even healthy ones. This is the reson I withhold even healthy foods for long periods and through a process guide people through a multi-stage diet that allows the body the time necessary to lower the inflammation and regain balance so that slowly and gradually that over reactivity will stop happening.

My daughter was stung by a bee the other day and I put on a linament to stop the pain and swelling which was really rahter severe and swift. The linament took about an hour but it did start to reduce the swelling rather dramatically. Oddly, an hour later, her friend also was stung with the same severe reaction. This child had not been there when the first sting happened. So, her parents not knowing what I had done said--oh get an aspirin and crush it and rub it on the sting (of their child). My daughter turned and asked, "what is aspirin?".

Sharing is wonderful...unless it is hatred.Love is all encompassing...unless it is only for those who think exactly like you.Teaching is critical.....unless it is prejudice.Knowledge is expanding...unless you think you know everything.Parenting is miraculous.....unless you teach your children intolerance.

I may have offended a few people earlier on my blog not meaning to of course. My post was not aimed at anyone, it was not for any purpose of condescending or judgement. I am so sorry if I made anyone feel inadequate because they may need to rely on western medications to get through this. It was not my intent to judge those who have walked a line between the two paths. As I said, if I were injured, I would be headed right to the MDs. There are times that each of us may feel different things are appropriate.
