Vitacost
Has anyone ever used Vitacost before? I live in LA, so I get all my herbs from Matia's office, but these prices are great, I just worry about the probiotics being kept properly cold during the shipping process.

I just did and the probiotics arrived warm. i called Natren and they said -"Get your money back"
I like
i herb much better. I have ordered Natren from them, and it has always arrived cold. Of course you have to pay for the speedier shipping. But on other orders, the shipping is only $2 most the time, and it arrives within 2-3 days at the most. I have never had a problem with them.
Deir, I am sorry it wasn't cold! How frustrating! It just is a pain to have to order that stuff and wonder if it will be kept usable, I know. I hope it is easy for you to get your money back.

Hi Hopeful. Natren was great. 2 different people called me back to talk to me about it. They definitely care about their product. Turns out the East Coast Manager lives 10 minutes form me so he told me about a health food store that carries it.
Natren Update
FYI - tried ordering Natren from my usual I-herb - they're out stock. So, I started searching around for a supplier that delivered iced. I found the following https://organicpharmacy.org/cart.php?action=add+item&pid=11836. There shipping costs are high - but the product is less than I've found ANYWHERE. So, i bit the bullet and ordered enough product to offset the shipping cost.

I know! I was out too and had to order directly from Natren and their prices are so high! Iherb is also out of the Country Life Ultra Omegas I am on, luckily I could find them at 10 other places!
Probiotics
I too have had trouble finding probiotics in stock - So, I went searching elsewhere - trying to avoid Natren themselves - wierd that they're so high. Anyway, I just ordered from https://organicpharmacy.org/cart.php. The cost was such a savings - which concerns me a bit - they do give you the option to ice things - which I did. The shipping was a bit high. So, I ordered more product, without increase in shipping - to off-set it. The savings were rather substantial.

Will do - I was originally going to do same day shipping - cost, I think, $41.00. I then saw that Natren did 2nd day shipping. So, I chose that - which was almost half the price. If it works well I will be SO happy.

Natren Update
OK - as I mentioned bfore I went looking for another supplier- originally because I-Herb was out - and I found this new place https://organicpharmacy.org/cart.php?action=add+item&pid=11836. There products are dramatically less. I ordered Wednesday night - 2 day delivery. They shipped out on Thursday and I got my stuff mid afternoon on Friday. They packed things much better than Natren or I-herb. I had only ordered two cold packs with my order - I think they put five in. It was in the foam box and then wrapped in some sort of aluminum bubble wrap. By the time I got it - it was still cool to the touch!
They have earned my business.
