I am working on getting off Neurontin. Currently, I am taking it for VV and Prudential Neuralgia. I can endure the VV and am hoping my Neuralgia will be tolerable. If you have gone off this medication, I would love to hear your experiences.
If you are taking medication, I highly recommend reading the full drug information. This week, I learned that Neurontin contains lactose and can affect blood sugar! I am down to one pill a day.

Hi Sharon: I found Neurontin a very strong drug. It was one of a group of drugs I was on in order to deal with IC. Coming off these drugs was no picnic and I agree we need to pay more attention to all aspects of these meds.2 of the other drugs I was taking were withdrawn from the public because of dangerous side effects. It feels great to be in Matia's care and off them all now. I found I had to cut Neurontin down very gradually..like 1/4 of a pill 2 weeks at a time. That might have been just my organic response, but wanted to share with you ..otherwise I ended up in bed and very disoriented. The gradual way worked though. I found, the pain and other conditions I suffered, decreased as a side effect of Matia's treatment.Onward and Upward!...Lois
