I've been under Matia's care for a long time and have been doing great. 2 months ago I felt strong enough to go in for a major dental surgery (several implants) that I have been delaying for a long time. It went pretty well, all the implants are healing fine. But after one difficult extraction, there was some inflammation, so the pain was really, really bad for about 2 weeks. I took Motrin frugally so was in a lot of pain most of the time.
Has anyone else ever had a bladder flare that just wouldn't calm down no matter what you try? I had to take antibiotics for the flu about a month ago, and my bladder has been in a major flare ever since. Since my bladder usually flares a lot anyhow, I think the antibiotics really pushed it over the edge.
Hi, can anyone recommend a hot drink to take whilst in early stages..? I was really enjoying my 1 black coffee but my bladder can't tolerate it. I daren't try green tea as I believe this will be even worse given past experience.
I know first stages are about detox, hence the choices of drink. I wonder whether it would be ok to move onto black tea and chamomile? Thinking about it I might give decaf coffee a try as I know caffiene's a huge problem for me.
Interested in purchasing protein powder for a loved one ( does not have IC). Can someone recommend me what protein powders that have high quality protein, easily digestible, not full of synthetic or artificial sweeteners or sweeteners that would adversely affect blood sugar levels. Does Matia have some favorites, I know she has in the past, but just can't remember which ones.
I know due to reading on here that we should be careful with letting our bodies become dependent on things but for cases of occasional monthly constipation which is better to take magnesium oxide or magnesium citrate? I've been advised before to take the twinlabs ones - which I believe are oxide but haven't tried them yet.
