Hi,  my name is Amanda.  This is the first time that I have posted to a forum to discuss my IC.

I'm 27 years old and was diagnosed with IC about  5 years ago now, but have had IC symptoms for about the past 8-9 years.

I have tried numerous different treatment options, including:  Bladder Installations, dozens of OAB medications, herbal remedies and had the InterStrim Implant Surgery done back in January 2014.  I've also recently started going to a Pelvic Floor Therapist and have had four visits with her so far.  Nothing seems to help.

I love this quote by John Maxwell!  It is absolutely true. 

IC is a terrible thing that has happened to us, but how we react to it is what really makes us who we are.  We’ve taken a giant leap forward in trusting that our bodies can heal when we do the hard work required.
