Exercise

This post keeps cycling back. I know early in treatment it is not recommended. But I have been doing it moderately throughout treatment. I would really love to step it up a bit and plan to ask at my next appointment. If you have been in treatment a while and are having more good days, what did Dr. B or M say about exercise for you?

Thanks for sharing!

I haven't really asked about excercise but I do find that as long as it's not too strenuous and cause excessive sweating I can feel good for it.  I also find that during excercise I notice my symptoms less but they generally return after.

She told me as long as it doesn´t cause me to flare I can exercise. I guess nothing too crazy. I don´t do much lately, but I want to start yoga and stretching again. In the summer time I did a lot of hula hoop and danced through the nights. My bladder was fine. But I still cannot do reversed postures like hand- or headstands :( Haha, I remember when I discovered that during the time I was in hospital and I told the doctors. They laughed at me bc they were certain that urgency after reversed postures can physically not be related to each other. Pffff.

I just asked her about this on Wednesday. She said to just be mindful and pay attention to how it makes my body feel. If it doesn't cause more symptoms, then ok. But if it makes me feel worse, then hold off or scale it back.
