Hi ladies
I'm in an awful quandary. I have a terrible gum infection and am currently on 4 ear 4 gml 4 49 4 goldenseal 2 Artecin and 4 zgl x4 per day to try and combat it. It sometimes seems a little better but then gets very bad again very quickly. I have servere ic and only tolerate a handful of foods so as you can imagine I'm not in a rush to take antibiotics. however this herbal combination is killing me (I'm normally on very low doses). How long do the herbs take to heal an acute infection? I've been on them for 10 days so far and The end isn't in sight. I really have no idea whether I'm being impatient or whether it should be gone by now.

I know how discouraged that you must be. However, unfortunately, the herbs don't always have a quick result. Although, often times they do. I know, leaves you hanging there - antibiotics or not? Several years ago I fought a UTI for six long months - gave in and took the anti-biotics. The flip side is another UTI, about six months ago, and the herbs took care of it in two weeks and stayed on the herbs for another two weeks. Your decision, if you're like me, may be a hard fought one. The thing that I'm trying to learn, is that I have the right to make choices. I'm trying not to beat myself up while making those choices.....Nor, beating myselft up after they're made...........
