Mucus

Forums:

I recently have had multiple tests run and my urinalysis has showed ketones, trace RBC, WBC's, urobilinogen, and large amounts of mucus and waiting for results of stool test as well, but notice I have more than usual amounts of orange mucus in my stool. My insides feel so raw after a BM and  either have 5 stools/day or go nearly a week in between my bowels moving. Not sure of a sign of lots of bacteria still sitting inside and all the stress feeding the little monsters,  or things are starting to move out? The pain in my belly though really hasn't improved through all this and was supposed to have an MRI today, but got a call this morning saying my insurance wouldn't pay for it, only another CT scan, but I refuse to do another CT scan when the MRI is better. I don't think my body can handle the  cancer causing machine. It's rediculous what insurance companies will do just to save themselves money! Ugh! I know others have had mucus issues in stool, how about in your urine and what does Dr. B say about it?

I am so sorry that you're in testing hell.  I HATE it when I find myself there.  For me it's so hard to know how much testing that I should pursue.  You asked if we knew what Matia felt about mucous.  I don't know.  What I'm wonderng is wha she says about all your crazy symptoms.  Has she been able to offer you some assurance that this is IC related?

I am so hoping that you're feeling better.

Take Care,

Denise

Hi Denise! No we are still in the digging and discovering stage. Even specialists in western medicine are scratching there heads trying to put the puzzle pieces together. Dr. M and my hunch is that because my gallbladder is "broken" the rest of my body can't get its job done and my liver is congested from all the bile being pushed back into my liver causing damage and my body can't filter out the toxins. All speculation, no one seems to really be able to figure out what is going awry in my body and why everything seems to be in such an overdrive state.

Hi Christina. I still think you should read that book I recommended and that for now you should not eat legumes with your stomach issues and mucous and stool issues. I think since you have advanced SIBO you should read that book. I know it will be tough to figure out what you can eat and that this is a big issue for people with severe digestive disorders. But I still think you should read the book because it will explain some of you symptoms. Also, if you have not called Mrs. A about food stuff she would be a great resource and I have her phone number so contact me on FB if you want to talk to her.

If we don't excel at health, the only other option is disease.

Hi Mimi

Not sure that you know this - but it seems that you can send a message to someone on this site -not sure if and when they would see it.  BUT - if you got to the tab up on top marked my account - then scroll down to the bottom and click on messages, it brings up a place to send a new message to someone or read any that you might have.  I don't know if the person that you send it to gets E-mail notification to check or not.
