throat

Hi ladies

I'm sorry for posting so much but I'm having a scary time. Since I've been home from my first appointment myself and dr boaz have been changing my protocol almost everyday. As soon as I take any herbs (all that I've tried so far) give me an immediate tight throat (from the second I swallow them). It then feels hard to breathe, even though I can breathe and hard to swallow. This feeling lasts for up to an hour. I also get dizzy. Is this an actual allergy to the herbs? It goes off completely as quickly as it came and I don't get any rash or swealing but it can't be that I get die off as soon as I swallow the herbs. I'm so confused and it's really quite scary. Will I ever tolerate anything?

Hi Katie,

Have you talked to Boaz about this?

I have and he just keeps switching herbs. But I'm quite scared by the same reactions.

Katie, I am so sorry you are having such a difficult time. When it comes to the herbs trusting Boaz is all I can say. He knows them so well. Don't give up please. Keep working with him. I am praying for you.

I just wanted to answer this thread in case any future patients have a similar problem and are frightened (I know I've searched for similar experiences). Although this happens as soon as I take the herbs its still die off. Possibly because Ive got yeast in my mouth etc and although this is scary Boaz told me its not anaphalaxis and not to be afraid. Im going to push through. Obviously if something like this happens to you, you'll need to discuss it with The doc you're working with but it's not as scary as it seems.
