Hi, My family has decided to raise a puppy for a service dog organization and we are suppose to get an 8 week old Lab this week.  (This close-to-Christmas timing came as a surprise to me as I thought the approval process would have taken longer and we'd get a dog in January).  We brought home the kennel on Friday and since this am,  I've had a sinus pain behind my eyes/nose and an itchy throat.  I didn't think I was allergic to dogs but now I'm wondering if I am.  Do any of you have dog allergies AND a dog?  How has it affected your IC and how have you dealt with it? And for those of you with a dog, has he/she affected your healing?  I'm entering my 23rd month of treatment and I've been feeling pretty good the last month.  I'm hoping that I'm coming out the other side and I don't want to hamper my recovery.  Any thoughts would be appreciated.
