I dont agree with what was said regarding sugar subs here, I think they are as toxic if not more toxic than sugar, but, I love everything else said here, including not creating fear with our children. This is a nice little clip and not long:

This article was sent to me by countless people yesterday, it is a really nice one illuminating many points that I discuss on the gastrointestinal tract and it's influence on health.

I received this beautiful email this week from a patient who had some very serious other health challenges in addition to her IC. I asked her if I could post this anonymously and she was very happy for me to share it with all of you.

Q: Is microwaving my food going to impact my treatment?
A: I do not think it will impact treatment, although, I have not tracked this enough to know with specificity. But, it is not a healthy way of cooking your food. I do not advise it.
Q: There is a strong odor rom my body, what is this?
A: As the body is trying to release toxins, it will give off a strong smell. This may last for very long periods of time, sometimes without interruption. As your body becomes healthier, your body odor will become more and more healthy smelling.

I thought I would start sharing some information that has come up in emails-bc often they are relevant to many others. I will try my hardest to do this as I can on a regular basis.
Q-when I am feeling well in treatment, is it wise to just get the powder form of the probiotics instead of the caps since my local store carry those?
A-I think this form of the Natren probiotic is not a good idea even post-treatment. It is just too strong for the kind of people that I treat,
Q-What herbs do you recommend me having on hand for an in home cold flu "medicine" chest?

behind it. I have said time and time again that research is pointed toward the study
being done. I had no idea there was actually proof of this.
I am not suggesting that medicine is not ever necessary, but am simply pointing out that
sometimes the information behind it is flawed.

I want to address a common question that comes up in people discussing my treatment. The Cure. It is important that I underscore the fact that I have no proof of nor do I represent this treatment as something that can cure IC.

There is so much controversy over raw dairy. It is so difficult to believe in 2013, there are people crossing state lines hiding their raw milk in the trunk of their cars while holding their breath not to be stopped by police just to get something that they feel is healthy for them. Many people having suffered from chronic illness have found their way out of it with the inclusion of raw dairy. Others simply drink it because it makes them feel healthier.
