There is something going on with the Imperial Elixir. We are calling to find out this am. Mean time for those of you in UK, we have plenty here. You can make a froup order so that it is much less expensive and get it over there. I am not sure what to replace it with. Lynn is trying to figure out the most she can send in one pouch. Every time we change our clocks-we have a two weeks lapse in appointment times where everyone gest confused. This starts with me. I was late to an appointment of my own on Sunday due to this Spring surprise, which, always cathches me no matter how hard I try to stay attuned.
I was late to my own wedding for this reason:) No joke.
Anyway. We sprung ahead. So please be aware if you are in UK-our clocks have moved an hour forward.

For every one theory in medicine there is another one to contradict that. This is one reason why I fell in love with Chinese medicine-because there are no absolutes.
What is good for one person may not be good at all for another. The human body and spirit are treated according to their sets of balance and imbalances.
So there are relationships between the organs and the various kinds of energies and there are XS type symptoms and deficient type symptoms.

This isn't really medically informative, but, it is interesting-politically. You might find it an interesting read. For those of you who don't live here, they mention Rawsome in this article. Rawsome is a store that is kind of a private club. IT was raided by the FDA countless times, and I think now has been finally shut down.

Even though many of us may not feel comfortable talking about it, sex is a big part of most of our lives. And, with a problem like IC, the problem quickly becomes not being able to have it!
This is such a complicated issue because it has many components to it. First of all urinary tract infections and vaginal infections can come from:
A--Urinary tract infections and vaginal infections can come from poor hygeine or fecal matter getting into that local area.

If you live in California, and are interested in preserving your rights to decide whether or not to vaccinate your children, please read this! How we take care of our children is critical to all aspects of their development, especially of their immune systems. However you feel about the subject of vaccines-pro or con, as a parent, your right to choose what you feel is best for your child, should not be taken away from you. This does not come from me-so pardon the sarcasm. I am just passing it on for everyone's information:

Sharing one's heart and mind is so important to everything in life. What would we do without other people to hear us, to witness us, to look at us for who we are. And certainly, empathy is something that is a two way street. It makes us feel so wonderful when we receive it and likewise to offer it as a gift.
In our darkest moments it is good to know there is someone there to listen.

I did not mention that anyone in treatment should not drink raw milk until it is time. When you are struggling with IC, your system is not strong enough to handle anything like raw milk. So, please don't take the post as advice to start drinking it. Muy intention is to teach about all stages of IC as well as more 'global" type thinking about diet.

I am very sorry. I did not realize there was a back up on my dissertation nor the reason for it. It just came to my understanding, my original document had been lost by our printer. So, I am in the process of digging it up and resending to them. I will have this done ASAP and have new print available shortly.

....correlating pasteurized milk with hormone related cancers. So much is happening in the world of milk. It is incredulous to believe in 2012 that people have to cross state lines to get their raw milk, or get it from private farms. A couple of years ago I made my weekly trip to WF to get my groceries including my raw milk only to experince the shock of a completely empty shelf where the raw milk once had been. It was as if I could not understand the WF employees when they were stuttering out an explanation as to why it would no longer be availlable.
