I read a post today about someone who was helped by follwoing my dietary suggestions who has not even become a patient.

My heart is so touched by your post! Thank you for sharing that with everyone. I am so happy to have heped you without even having met you!

The standard diets that are recommended are targeted differently, and I am so glad you tried mine and it helped. But, remember, there are stages, and the goal is to get back to a normal healthy diet!

I am not making a statement either way, but saw the post on vitamins and someone just after that post happened to send me the following article, so I thought it was relavent to today's forum discussions:

As I said, I am going to be launching a teaching program within the next few weeks. I am working on it daily. I am also looking for other kinds of practitioners who may may want to occupy space here in my clinic who are working on IC patients and would like to integrate into my method and offer complimentary services that are consistent with the ICAMA methods. This may be an M.D., Chiropractor, psychotherapist, massage therapist (for advanced patients), or other kind of healer.

Our rights are in danger. Please read this letter from a patient trying to voice her opinion.

To all it may concern:

This letter is in reference to the FDA’s involvement in compounded hormone replacements and the Sense of the Congress Resolution (H.Con.Res.342).  I cannot stress enough how much this means to me and my quality of life.

I was thinking today that there have been so many of you reaching out lately to help those who are just coming into treatment and how wonderful it is to create a ring of hope and help and positivity all the way around. There is so much negative information out there. And, being sick can be a lonely place to be.

Something came up today that comes up frequently, and I think it warrants a blog note. A patient I am working with went to their doctor for a problem and was told that they need a steroid that will effect only the sinus cavity. The person was told that it would not have any systemic effect.

In my work I sound like a broken record, "no sugar, no sugar substitutes, they are bad for you......" Sorbitol is also in topical facial and body lotions. So, this is an ingredient to be aware of. It is present in even many natural products that might seem otherwise like a good idea.

Later agave is a great natural sweetener that is not unhealthy for you, but, when you are ready!

Here is a nice article:

Sorry for the redundancy, but this is such a heated and upsetting issue as is water in general. Water has a huge impact on health, and, in IC, it can be the difference between effective treatment and completely ineffective treatment.

Even if you are not drinking it, showering with floridated water can be toxic!
