I realized this weekend while sitting in a seminar that most people don't understand
that practitioners are often herbalists OR acupuncturists, seldom both. I myself am
primarily an herbalist, although, of course, I practice acupuncture. The classic texts
of Chinese medicine are filled with famous doctors who were one or the other.

No matter how much I have learned over the years, I continue to do so each day. I
try to keep my mind and my heart open to new ideas and to information that I
did not know or have before. The issue of vaccines has been a big one over the last 5 years
and I continue to contemplate the subject and learn more as each year passes.
