I love it when people send wonderful articles such as these. I try to pass on as much as I can, but, it is great if everyone is passing on more articles, this way we can have more great information.
This article is about the importance of the Gut-and I don't need to restate what I think of that.
Please read this, it is wonderful:

yogurt
I have been giving my 2 year old sugar free yogurt daily hoping to help him with yeast issues. According to this article, the bacteria would be dead already or his stomach would kill it. Should I stop wasting my money on yogurt?
I am giving my 20 months old
I am giving my 20 months old plain yogurt just as a milk product serving and because she likes it, the brand that I buy is Fage, but ask Matia, if she can recommend a Natren probiotic mix for your little one.
Yoghurt is great
for little ones and for all of us generally speaking. I love Fage yoghurt btw. The Greek yoghurts taste really well even if they are fat free bc they are so creamy. With my little ones that I treat in the clinic, I often recommend their parents give them probiotics orally as well, but those are case by case basis depending on the child and what their health situaiton is.
I would think that homemaide
I would think that homemaide would not do the same. The store bought just isn't cultured long enough to be effective I don't think. I would love to hear Matia's thoughts. It's very easy to make your own.
Good Bacteria
I found the following quote interesting
“There are over 400 species of bacteria in the colon; bacteria make up 30%–50% of the total dry matter in the feces, or even 75% according to other calculation. [1]”My daughters feces are improving after taking probiotics for six months. I am so relieved :o)
Wow
Wow, this is the best article I have read so far. I am emailing it to all my Friends & Family.
