I wanted to say that through the years, one of the greatest experiences that takes place is the relationship that develops between the person I am treating and myself. I have met so many lovely people over the years. And, as I have said before, in doing this work, it has been really wonderful to connect people that are otherwise worlds apart in commonality and in proximity--heart to heart.
One of my patients this week flew all the way accross the country to reach out and help another person who is newer in treatment and havng a hard time just to be there for her. How incredible is that? She has the most wonderful heart and beautiful spirit. I am honored to know someone who has so much love in her heart that she would go so far out of her way to help someone in need. Her name is Angela, and I believe Angela means angel. That is what she is, an angel--truly. Thank you for being who you are Angela, you make the world a more beautiful place by being you!
