I am so sorry that you have to deal with these untruths. I can not understand why people would say these types of things. I have a lot of respect for you and your practice and I know that you never do anything to put your patents in harms way. I don't know of any dr's who dedicate as much time as you do to there patients. I am so greatful for all your time and research. I think having this board will be a better sorce for your future patients to gain truthful  information about you and your practice. I can not think of any other path I would choose to heal my self I am so happy to be your patient.

Matia, this is BIZARRE! In my 38 years I've never, NEVER met any doctor who is as dedicated to their patients and as competent in their field as you are (and God knows, I've seen many). I just personally think that only very limited people with non-existant will power (give up sugar, are you kidding???) can spread this kind of nonsense! To them your protocol seems too hard, if not impossible, and they dismiss it with simple ignorance.PLEASE, DON'T LET THIS RUIN YOUR DAY!

I don't understand this:  If that future patient called someone who you do not know and parently she was not your patient, how could this potential patient believe it? Or why did not this person go on your website or talked to the other person - your patient who gave you this info. But on the otherhand, a person with IC has tried so many doctors before that he or she does not really know anymore who to trust and where to turn to. But I do believe this - the least resistance is the best option, although a person should be able to defend herself if someone has been dishonest or has spoken untruth. It is so hard to be least resistant and always approach people the kind way without any angre.  Sometimes,my  patience is at the end and I feel like screeming, which is still part of my healing. And there are still occasions that I do screem. I have noticed for last few months,that any time I get angry or upset at the situation or at someone, my condition worsens. My body is telling me: "No, no, this is not the way you should continue to live, you need to take your life other direction".
I believe that this person that has lost your treatment due to the untruth that has been told to her, I believe that if she trully will be searching for her healing, maybe then her "human intelligence" will show her the path back to you.  As it has showed it to me, it took a long time, but I have found you, even though I lived on the other side of the planet.

It's so sad that someone would try to take an opportunity to get better away from someone else. I hope this person finds her way back to you. Maybe there are others out there who are as skilled and as kind as you are but I HAVEN'T FOUND THEM!! At least not out of the 35 docs who I trusted to help me get better. According to the German philosopher, Arthur Schopenhauer, "All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident." Hopefully we will get through these 3 stages sometime soon! Thank you for all you do Matia

YES! Like everyone said, above, along with a heartfelt thank you, Matia, for taking he higher road and not letting ignorance of so many stop your work. It is angering that this prevents one of us from healing but, I do see the value of this site in helping her to reconnect (so glad that you shared this experience)...the reactions alone to your blog tell the truth and are there for all to read..this is wonderful and so are you!

Thats outrageous - it amazes me how people can display such stupidity & ignornace. When I lived in Russia we had an expression for such people - ''Doorak''.Matia I can tell you that this woman is a massive Doorak - she should just speak to all the people you have helped out then she would have known the truth.She lost out - she is still suffering.

Matia, I know there are countless people, like myself, who have discovered, after seeing numerous medical doctors and trying various unsuccessful treatments, that your method has been the only one that has brought us back to health.  We are all deeply indebted to you and your commitment to understanding and treating IC.  Please know that you are very appreciated by so many. 

Matia I am so sorry that you have to put up with this.  I am so happy that you persist and do take the high road.  I hope that the satisfaction you get from working for this cause outweighs all of the negativeness.  I can't imagine where I would be without your assistance.  I have enjoyed all that I am learning as a result of you opening my eyes.  When I speak to others about all that you do for me and for all of us they are so amazed and I think find it hard to believe.  Thank you.

I know this, that there is no other Doctor like Dr Matia Brizman. I have seen many many Doctors in my life but there is none like Dr Brizman!!! Dr Matia Brizman gives people their lives back. She gave me back mine. My husband and both of my children have better health because of her. I cannot think where my life would have been had I not met her. She has done and does more than any other Doctor I know of. The word Doctor means Teacher, and that is what she is a GREAT Teacher. She Teaches us how to live a good life so we can heal and become healthy and how to prevent from getting ill. All this wonderful knowledge she has especially when it comes to IC and health in general. The wonderful medicinal herbs that help us heal and nourish our bodies. She has all this great knowledge....and she shares it with us! So many Doctors out there use this word Doctor but they are not teaching us anything. If anyone deserves the title DOCTOR it is Dr Matia Brizman!!! I remember the days where I was so very very ill, I felt there was not end to the suffering. My life became a nightmare. No Doctor could help me until I met Dr Brizman and yes the road was long and hard for me but worth it every step of the way. I live a normal life again and even better than before IC. I am and I will be grateful everyday of my life for finding her. I have learned so much and still learn so much. It is endless! Matia, once you told me a while back something... I will paraphrase...There are many good doctors and many bad doctors.... it doesn't matter if it is Chinese medicine or Western medicine... the difference is the Western Medicine is more accepted and "understood" by Westerners.  If a patient went to a quacky Western doctor, they wouldn't "poo-poo" Western Medicine.... they would just find another Western doctor (so many of us have done that right?) Unfortunately though, because people don't know Chinese medicine too well, if someone chooses Chinese medicine and they are unfortunate enough to get a quack... they will be more quick to "poo-poo" Chinese medicine because they don't understand it.  I think you have obviously proven that you are not a quack and to others, they just aren't willing to take the time to understand or translate what you are doing...which is eating right and getting the body in balance by possibly using herbs.  It is sad that people do not see eating right as the basis of health.  We have such a warped society, it is disturbing to me.  The silly thing though is that you are using herbs... so what?  Have people forgotten that the basis of many Western medicines come from.... PLANTS!!!  What is the difference?
Anyhow... it is really too bad that people who don't understand malign others.  They probably have no idea what they are doing is so damaging.  I too along with my children would be in a much different place today if it had not been for you.  You were given a gift and thank God you chose to use it. 

Matia;That is awful that anyone would spread a rumor like this.  Anyone who has doctored with you knows that these accusations are not true.  You can't control what people say or think.  Just ignore this nonsense as best as you can. 

Matia. all your patients know you have the highest integrity. I am very glad that you are there and that I have found you. As another patient said to me we are the lucky ones.
