I Ran Into A Patient The Other Day

The other day I went to the park and a friend I was meeting said "hi Matia" and from under
the playground equipment came a voice..'MAATIIIIA???, Hi Matia!" And it was so funny bc it was someone, a patient, I had not seen for years. It is funny how you can know someone for so long and then forget about them. It is especially funny in her case because recently she has come back to my clinic but sees my husband--just for stress and health maintenance. We laughed and talked and caught up for a while. After we left each other, I remembered, she is one of my patients that has had children, two to be exact, and never wrote in about it! So, I am going to try and get a hold of her to write something for you all.

It is hard to keep up with the people who come and go in the clinic because once someone has gotten well balanced and healthy again and asymptomatic, they generally disappear. Not all of them, many come back and visit from time to time if they have a cold or something else. But, many disappear. This was one shining example-and good I ran into her, bc it seems that pregnancy is a hot topic this month. So, I will do my best to get her story.

Hi Matia thanks for the stories this week they have all been really inspiring. I
am 31 just begining treatment and looking forward to starting a family once
I get my health back on track. It's so great to hear stories of women who have
done the same.
