January's Support Group Meeting

Facebook iconTwitter iconGoogle icon

In an effort to try and make this next meeting more audible for everyone so that we can really connect better, I need to get some feedback from all of you who participated in last month's meeting. Can you each post a comment telling me if you dialed in by phone or by computer. If by computer, did you use headsets. This will help my technical person fix the gliches from last month. Thanks everyone:)

Matia, I diled by phone and I could here you fine most of the time, except for the period when I was hearing double. But I had a hard time hearing other people, not the ones calling, like me, long distance, but patients who were there with you.Really looking forward to the next meeting!

I used the internet and I did have to use my headsets in order to hear. I could hear you in partiular very clear and well. Your volume was set at a good level however I could not here some and one person I am not sure was so loud it hurt my ears. I kept having to adjust the volume. In particular i had trouble hearing the other people in the room with you as well. I am curoius what device you used Matia?

I tried to go through computer but was not able to.  I would like too.  Maybe I need instruction.  I dialed through the phone and could hear pretty well.  There was a little echoing at one point.  I would like to use the computer and a headset so I don't have to hold the phone for two hours.

I tried the computer but it didn't work - I don't know why. I have previously successfully used Gizmo to speak to Raquel. So I phoned in. I had a hard time hearing everyone as had an echo almost from the beginning and some interference on the line and some voices were very quiet and one was really loud. I also want to use headphones next time as had RSI after holding the phone 2 hrs! But, despite all the problems, I enjoyed it and am looking forward to next month. I think the idea of having an agenda is great.
