Knowledge Not Paranoia

I just wanted to follow up on the post I made about water contaminants the other day. I am not posting these things to make any of you afraid, but rather simply trying to drive home a point. And, the point is, we need to be aware of how our diet and environment are affecting us. That does not mean that there is an actual way to prevent every single toxin from entering our body. I am 100% certain that is an impossible task. But, we can learn from what may be contributing to our lack of well being most and adjust for that. After we are in stronger and well balanced condition we can also choose our "evils". One might want to paint her nails, but feel very strongly about not drinking alcohol, for example. OR she may not care what kind of body lotion she puts on, but want to only eat organic foods. Or maybe he wants to not care about organic foods and go out to restaurants where he is not even sure about the ingredients, but only eats the healthiest choices, except the white bread served before the meal. Maybe you like a sunscreen that is not as pure, but don't use any make-ups that have been known to have toxns in them. There are so many combinations of things and choices in how to do things. I will always advise you how to get through treatment, and how to stay as healthy as you can in accordance with what I know at the time. And, I will always post these articles--not to create fear, but to perpetuate knowledge. Because, you can only make a good choice if you are informed.

It's a good point. As they say 'Information is Power'. Another good source of health information is a British Journal called "What Doctors Don't Tell You'. It is published monthly and has an American editor and a lot of the information and research is USA based. Found at www.wddty.com Click on the 'About Us" heading to get their mission statement.PS. The extreme right-hand text box on this editor is obscured by the green boxes for about 3 characters (while typing).PPS Where has the Search facility gone?

Thank you Jane, I will check out that source! There was evidently an interesting article on water over there a few weeks ago, did you see it by chance? I asked someone to get the source of that for me and they didn't. If you did please let me know. As for the technical questions, do you mean the promts? They are at the top in black. If that is not what you mean, let me know.

There was a report in WDDTY in June about pharmaceuticals in drinking water. It's not mentioned on their website, I guess becos its too recent. I wonder if this is what u mean? I can scan it and email it if u wish. There's an older report from Nov 06 called 'Bottled water everywhere - and not one fit to drink' (available on wddty.com)The prob with the text editor seems to have sorted itself out now and I can see the Search button again.

I am definitely going to start checking that publcation regularly, if you can do it without it being difficult, I would so appreciate the copies of both of those! I am really trying to focus on all of the water issues right now bc they are so huge. I totally appreciate it. Thank you!!!!
