This Month's Support Group

Thank you everyone for attending March's support group meeting. Again there were some technical difficulties, but, we made it through.

We had a few new patients join in and a lot of great questions came up.

It is increasingly apparent I think through these meetings how wonderful support can be.

People find common threads between them in the desire for understanding this condition,
and their own individual connection to it.

I am sorry I did not start these meetings a long time ago. It never occurred to me. It has
been a really wonderful experience being able to do this for everyone and to be a part
of an ever growing group of great people.

I think we hit on every suggested question and entertained a lot of other questions as well. I
look forward to next month's meeting!

These meetings are great and I am so thankful that we have them. I would like to say as far as the sound goes those of you joining in please turn off your mics when your not speaking. There was some dishes clanking in the background I could hear and I was already straining so hard to hear Matia. It would just make it easier for us all that way.
Something was kind of nice about us all being on the line waiting for Matia I realized we don't get a chance to get to know eachother. I wonder if we could have just a time to talk together not just questions but more of general support. That is the one thing missing from this support group we aren't really getting that closeness that is reached when you all get to meet in the office. I don't know if someone needs to moderate it legally but it would be nice to open the room maybe 30 min a head of time just for meet and greet if at all possible or another day just to be able to talk to eachother.

I agree with Nicole.  When we couldn't hear you Matia it gave those of us on the line some time to connect which I enjoyed.

Brilliant idea Nicole, I look forward to this. It is great to be connected. Also agree that those on the phone need to mute their phones, I too could hear someone washing dishes for about the last 20 mins! And a dog barking before that! The line for me in UK had some interference so I was straining to hear already.
