This is actually a super interesting articel. I have had several patients tell me that they cannot eat raw almonds. They feel sick. I thought at the time that that was because of the heghtened amount of enzymes in teh raw food relative to their condition. But, now I am questioing myself. So there are no safe almonds out there then? it is the chemicals that have caused the flares, not the nut itelf? I wonder if all nuts are treated this way and that is why I can't tolerate any, although I do slightly better with pecans than almonds

I don't know if they are NOT safe, but, just not 100% sure. If you have nay farmer's markets there that might be best place to buy them.
