If you are reaching this site for the first time I want to welcome you to a place where hope through an alternative viewpoint on life and health may be introduced to you for the first time.

Alterntaive medicine had been around for far longer than the traditional medicine we practice today. It is just that, it was not cosidered alternative before. It has become alternative as the various kinds of natural medicine have been placed aside and traditional medicine as we know it today has taken front stage.

However, more recently, alternative types of medicines of many kinds are beginning to gain popularity again due to the increasing numbers of people experiencing chronic illness. These poeple do not seem to be getting the answers they are looking for nor treatments or prognoses that work or make sense. Some of the perspectives on these different ailments can be quite bleak, depressing, anxiety provoking, and, people end up abandoning hope and any fighting spirit they may have otherwise had.

Health is a dynamic state, it is not a static state. Balance is an ebb and flow, like the tides, like the movement of the planets. It is cyclical and in constant motion. When there is sickness, there is a negative shift in the motion in the internal mechanisms of our bodies, in all that creates the mechanism behind our ebb and flow.

The reasons for this are many fold, but very basically are due to the way we have thought about our bodies, treated our bodies, and managed our health. Getting our bodies back into balance requires a process that embraces these kinds of ideas which help us to understand what got us sick in the first place so that we may access what things will get us back into balance and healthy again.

This is why the diet the ICAMA suggests a treatment that is not static, but dynamic. It moves as your body changes. Its purpose is to support the changes toward a healthier state of dynamic balance as those changes occurr. Having one static diet forever will only leave you in a static state. it will not support change.

When reading all of the information on Interstitial Cystitis and any other chronic illnesses you may have alone or in concert with IC, take what you read into context. And, think to yourself, whether you want to accept a very negative perspective on your condition or if you want to fight your way to a healthier balance to optimize your possiblities for a healthier body, healthier mind, and a healthier life.
