Have you or a family member been treated for Eczema?  My son is not a patient of Matia's and I would like to try a natural treatment.  Thanks :o)

My husband has eczema on his hands. His hands always crack and bleed. I can feel his pain when i look at them. He has some creams but i don't think they are very effective. His condition is not as severe to get the shots, but still bad. He has been making a vinegar/water solution to soak his hands for 15 minutes and he feels that it helps. I can't really tell the difference, but i'd be very interested to find out the responses.

Try eliminating gluten, sugar and dairy from the diet for 30 days and see if it improves. Reintroduce foods one at a time to see what happens after 100% abstinence for that 30 days.

When I started seeing Matia, I had what my MD called eczema (or maybe psoriasis they said) all over my arms, back, legs, and scalp.  Now it's just on my scalp (and is far better there, too) but it's taken about 10 months to go away. Matia had no doubt that it was something she could help fix.
Adding on to what Sam said, I also bake at a gluten-free bakery and many of the people who buy our products do it because if they eat gluten they have terrible eczema.  might be a simple place to start if you haven't tried that already.

I have eczema on my scalp at the nape of my neck all the time.  Matia hasn't been able to get rid of it.  In winter I get it on the backs of my upper arms and behind my ears.  I think maybe moisturizing from the inside might be the answer.  When my son was young, he used to get eczema on his feet so bad they would bleed.  We controlled it really well by giving him wheat germ oil capsules.  That pretty much took care of the problem as long as he took it daily.  Now that he is an adult, he doesn't seem to have the problem anymore.
