I have been buying either pasture raised (the hens are eating worms, bugs and grasses :) Or vegetatian feed eggs that don't specify they are omega rich. It is hard to say what is in vegetarian feed, but I am guessing if it is flax heavy then they tell you that??
Vegetarian feed is always shady, i try to avoid it as well. It could be corn or soy which either i avoid. Flaxseed would usually be labeled i would think, being a new health trend.
Stay away from vegetarian eggs, they could be fed soy, and other things we cannot have. Pasture raised is your best option. I buy mine from whole foods. The brand is Vital farms.
