Over the past week I have been slowly realizing an arthritic pain in my hands and legs and feet. It is really scaring me. Has anyone else developed theses sensations and has Dr Brizman helped anyone resolve theses pains?

Thanks,

Sue

Hello Sue,
this could all be part of to much inflammation in the body. My joint pain left went doing  the diet list one. For me eating grains, rice, chicken or egg will start a flair beginning with joint and muscle pain.

Of course I meant a flare,

Does ground turkey bother you?  I just began adding that two days ago.  It was an easy meal - I made hamburgers out of it. Has anyone had problems with turkey?

Have not tried this yet because the turkey is probably fed with grains as well. I am eating lamb, steak and  sometimes salmon .

If you search this site for hand pain/swelling, finger pain, knee pain, foot pain, arm pain, hip pain....you will find lots of testimonials. Dr. B will explain to you. Many of these things come and go and ultimately resolve in treatment, the frustrating part is not knowing how long you will have the pain or discomfort. It seems that when treatment is over, most patients are living a normal life and don't have the joint pain anymore. I agree with Anneke that it is inflammation. Dr. B's dissertation explains this too.
Currently I am experiencing mild versions of the following:
Tingling in fingers, swelling in fingers, irritated skin under ring finger (this finger represents the lymph)
Knee achiness
Pain in my right heel
Intermittent hip soreness/fatigue
Wobbly legs
Slight headaches
Occasional ear ringing
Vertigo
Stuffy nose
Belly bloat after dinner
Facial acne
Tiny eczema patch on calf
That is my current list. We shall see what crops up this week!

Mimi,

How long have you had IC?

Hi Sue. My symptoms started last September 1st or so. So almost 5 months.

My health history that lead up to IC (everyone's precipitating factors and triggers are different) started when i was much younger with mild digestive issues, and culminated with a boatlaod of antibiotics last year for dental work, bio-identical hormone cream for what I thought was perimenopause (now I am thinking it was my imbalance), two rounds of Botox injections, and about 5 years of nearly daily wine drinking. Otherwise, to my own mind, I had thought I was fairly healthy. I was a fitness instructor and ate whole foods and drank 2 glasses of wine per day (I thought I was tall and could get away with it.). But my body did not agree. Sigh. You can PM me if you have any more questions. Happy to answer.
