I may be just strange, although I've seen other people write about it - decaf seems to make my urethra act up - unlike regular coffee.

It is so true for me. I am experimenting with extra diluted organic regular. Seems to be okay. I cannot even begin to tell you what decaf does to me. 
Then again, everyone is different.
