Ok so I have more questions about food. Everytime I think I have it all figured out there is always something. I starting reading older posts and there are people saying that Turkey and Chicken causes flares. Is there anyone else out there that has this problem. Everyday I just cannot tell what it is but something is getting me. When I get rid of a bunch of things I still cannot pin point it. Does anyone buy eggs from whole foods?
My apt. is on April 27th... wish it could be sooner as I have been having a bad time these last few days, maybe it's because my period is due in a few days. Do most of you flare during this time? My anxiety is up now too, making travel plans is stressful. I still would like to hear about where you all stayed and if you took shuttles or rented cars and how were they? Thanks all!
Hello out there. I am about to have my first meeting with Dr. Brizman this week. If anyone has any tips on what to expect or things to bring for the first time it would be greatly appreciated. I live in Canada so will not be able to see her after the initial visit and want to make sure I have and do everything I need to while i am there!
Hey does or did anyone else have a hard time with sea salt, olive oil and rice and potatoes at the beginning of treatment. I have been on stage one and two and I still cannot tolerate sea salt and grains, and I think olive oil may be affecting me too.
It's been kind of quiet around here of late. I figure that we're all feeling a heck of a lot better, or dove into a vat of chocolate, followed by a pint of beer, and are too ashamed to admit it :) Actually, I really would like a margarita on the rocks with salt. HOWEVER, I do know that is a past life.....

Anyone experiencing severe out of control lower abdomen bloating that is so severe that you can't move from the pain and pressure?
I am at a loss for words....I am sooooooo inflammmmed and distressed from pain that shooots throughout my body...i can't work or really move and soooooooooooooooooooooo depressed....from pain.....and icky balloon bloattttttt...aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah
I'm still confused about whether the diet should be followed in order for maximum detox/healing benefit?? I know that I can tolerate some of the things listed in 2, 3 & 4 due to years of trials! But I'm sticking with list 1 and a couple of veggies on list 2 as I believe it to help in the detox and healing process.. For example if i were to have blueberries, which i know I can tolerate..this is a sugar so eating it will increase the yeast production rather than kill it? Also, I thought I was ok with milk products but again the same thing..
