Hi Ladies, Short of exchanging bodies for a day, there is really no way for us to understand what IC "feels like" to each one of us. Furthermore, the term "flare" has always baffled me because in the periods of my life when IC has been active, it has been one, long continuous flare. When I first began treatment, I was in constant level 7+ pain. There was no break....ever. As time has passed, the pain has decreased and although I still have IC bladder pressure and frequency daily, it is a dull roar - often I am unaware- mixed with periods of absolute bladder calm.
Hellos everyone! I am coming off a huge bought of a GI bug and having a hard time getting the nausea, reflux and gurgly painful bowels to settle down. I assume these symptoms have lingered a bit longer because of my damaged gut. I am having a hard time incorporating food again because everything seems to irritate my bowels. For those of you who have IBS, have your symptoms improved?
I just need to vent. I have been doing better for a couple of weeks- which is making me hopeful but also scared to face the bad days. Afte so long, I am always waiting for the shoe to drop and never feeling confident that I could be turning a real corner. I have had good periods ebfore during these past 2.5 plus years and it always gets worse again. This time feels a little different but even saying that feels like I am jinxing myself even though I say i don't believe in that. I know it is a self protective thing (plus I am getting into the PMS phase)
With gardening season right around the corner, I'm wondering what sunscreen people use. Boaz said they don't sell a sunscreen but perhaps have something that would suffice. I'd really like to buy something locally or online. He did say he would review any product that I could provide a website for. I'm very fortunate in that I don't react to creams, lotions or smells. What sunscreen do you put on your children? It would seem that if it's safe for our children, it might be ok for those of us who aren't quite so sensitive. Thanks for everyone's input!
Hello all! I am nearing 3 years in treatment and I have started to get a wierd tingly numb sensation in corner of my mouth all of a sudden on the left side and it is constant. Anyone else ever get this before? Also getting hiccups all the time. So many strange symptoms going on currently. Just not sure what is going on?! Thanks!
I have been in treatment for almost 3 years and I have never had much in the way of die off. One thing that has always been great for me is my energy! All of the sudden today I have bone crushing fatigue- feel like my arms weigh a ton. What is up with this? Hope it passes because I have too much to do.
I was wondering where to order the Zhong Gan Ling Plum Flower brand and the Chuan Xin Lian Plum Flower brand products. It doesn't seem to be on the BomaMed website and I'm not sure where to find them. I thought I would finally invest in them (along with the other suggested items) to have on hand in case I needed them for a flu or something. Thanks for any help.
