Hi all- Dr B started me on 1 rhodiola nd1/2 mega. This is a totally new herb for me. I know it helps with anxiety but I was wondering if anyone had any bladder relief from it.
I was thinking, maybe we could all make a list of all the important things that we wish we had known in the beginning and sometimes just don't think of that could help new patients and continue a thread here, who knows maybe it will help not just the new folks, in case any of us are doing something that could hinder our progress.
After quoting this excerpt from "The Web That Has No Weaver", I thought it was worth reposting. I welcome any comments. Unless Eastern, and Western including "Alternative" doctors, such as those practicing "functional" Medicine" and who are attempting to treat the whole person start talking to one another, I worry there will never be hope for the millions of IC sufferers that are not priviledged to work with Dr. Brizman.
i just wanted to ask you . Is there anybody here who has chicken or beef broth??? i have read that if you do the stock (with bones) is great for healing the gut but i have also heard Matia does not like it. I wanted to know if the people that are have gone better have had stock on their diets...
Well, this is my second time trying Dr. B's protocol and I am not enthused. Pain level is so great, I don't think I can continue.

I had been doing so so well, never cheating until this past weekend. I used food, a few bites of here and there, to deal with the loss of our German Shepard, Boscoe, who passed away two weeks ago tomorrrow. I regressed and this has caused such a downfall effect all week - from bladder burning/intestinal burning, fybromylgia, to getting up to void 5 times last night and frequency all day long with little to no voiding.. I am so bummed out as i thought i was doing so well and past this after 18 months. The bladder burning remains and its depressing. its not like I ate sugar! ugh. I wis
Wondering if any of you who have vulvodynia have had this eventually go away with this treatment. Recently I read that it is our ph that is off that is a major cause of this. We are very acidic and the acid has deposited in our tissues. I understand that the food combining in this treatment helps to keep the acid/alkaline ratio in balance. I know that yeast also plays a role as well as a flora imbalance.
