Although I do not read the private forum, I see the headlines. I see that someone is trying to sell their formula to others. Something important to know- just because I take you off of a formula at one point, does not mean you wont be going back on it. Most of the time you will be because I go back and forth on protocols as you go through this process-so keep everything you have-you need it!

Farmed fish is a big problem. This is an interesting article on this topic and since I just posted on tilapia, I thought I should also include this very informative article:http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2010/11/30/farmed-sal...

is one fish that I recommend staying away from. It seems to cause symptoms in patients for different reasons than sometimes salmon can. Salmon, can cause some frequency in those that are prone to frequency because of the high amount of essential fatty acids in it, whereas, tilapia does not contain high amounts of EFAs.

Even though EFAs are important to good health, often they can cause frequency. I do often use EFAs in patients, but, they need to be used in the right person at the right time as well as derived from the proper source.

I want to go over some basic "DO'S and DONT'S" of treatment-potholes that people fall into even though I go over them at the early onset of treatment. There is so much information in the beginning of treatment it can be overwhelming and people often miss these basic rules.

1) When using Natren probiotics do not replace the loose powder for the powder that comes from the capsule form. They are formulated differently and this will have a very negative effect on your progress.

Often people will tell me that they feel worse and I ask them to look back to the last thing they did or ate. Every once in a while I get someone who said, well, last week I got the flu shot or another kind of vaccine.

I won't go into all of my feelings on this topic, I realize it is heated, but, vaccines can very much effect your treatment. During treatment for IC, it is best to not get vaccinated, as it can negatively alter the work we are doing with your immune system.

This is the answer that most people give when you ask them about their diet. I realize open ended questions, especially when you first meet someone are often a bad idea. I asked a patient the other day about her diet and after she answered very healthily, I asked her to get more specific. One of the most well known fast food restaurants was on the top of her menu list multiple times per week. She though, well she eats chicken there-and chicken is healthy-think again!

Everything we do effects us. Everything we put in our mouths and on our skin, and even breath. If our body needs what we put in, then the effect is fine, but, if we subject ourselves to something that we do not and we do this repeatedly, it can become a very big problem.

Antibiotics are just one of many examples of how something life-saving has turned into something life changing-but, not in a good way in many cases.

This articel offers interesting insight:http://www.theepochtimes.com/n2/content/view/45364/
