When Dr Mercola and then so many others started downing agave, I never changed my mind for one moment about it based on my own clinical observation of this product. I base most of my opinions on clinical observation, and since I do have a large pool of people to observe from, I believe it is applicable to do so.

This is an article written by a women who has done hands on research on the subject and can illuminate some of the issues that have been brought up regarding agave and the bad wrap on fructose. I think it is well done and a great read.

There are other sweeteners I also use and more I would like to try, but, I typically use agave and maple syrup and they both work very well and do not send my children and their friends into a sugar frenzy and both effect my patients quite well when they are ready to add natural sweetener into their lives.

I've met the woman who wrote this. She was a student at the same nutrition coaching program I went through in NYC and we met at an event where she had her chocolate bar debut!
I have never had the chocolate but can't wait to try it someday! Thanks for posting this, it's been a very confusing topic for me over the years.
