I have to say that one of the main things that keeps me going in the fight towards helping people with the dreaded illness of IC is the privilege of being able to get to know so many wonderful human beings.

A patient out there is suffering horribly and has been left in a situation with no computer to contact me with and some other patients gathered their resources to help her by buying her a blackberry, getting it, and sending it to her.

I am infinitely touched by the warmth of the human heart and all that it is capable of in the midst of despair and honored to be able to be a part in helping those who are clearly so deserving of good things to com their way.

I cannot imagine my life without the fascination of watching people go from suffering horribly to leading wonderful lives again. My heart grows bigger and brighter each day from small joys such as the one I was told of today!
