Anxiety

Often patients will suffer from anxiety with IC, which, is understandable because when life presents you with a problem like IC, it is normal to be anxious. However, sometimes anxiety comes up because of substances one has taken to deal with his or her issues during treatment. I have seen several instances of that. And, lastly, often anxiety could be an underlying problem from childhood.

Anxiety is a tricky issue. Sometimes anxiety comes due to the understandable reactions one has to real life situations, as in getting IC, or losing a job, or a family member becoming ill. And, sometimes it comes as a feeling which comes over you and is seemingly coming for no reason as it is unattributable to anything. I have watched many people go through anxiety over the years and have watched most of them improve tremendously simply as the result of their bodies becoming better balanced over time. In some cases, medication is necessary to get through really tough anxiety and in some cases, there are other ways to get through it, as anxiety has many faces and many aspects. There have been multiple posts on this issue by other patients describing their different experiences with this-some having taken medications and others supplements or self help of other sorts.

A patient going through some of this wanted to share her experience with a book that helped her. There is not one solution for everyone, but, perhaps this will also help many other people. Sine it helped her so much, she wanted to share it with all of you! http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000TVUOW4/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_sr_3?pf_rd_p=486539851&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=0471463604&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=06SP5QDA4FD2JJB96SAC

Thanks for sharing with us, I got the book and am about to finish soon. It broadened my vision; has good insights and helps me to understand myself; and also others around me. Esp some case stories were really good as they show how some people seem but how they are behind the picture, and what the underlying reason is.
