I never make pies, but, my daughter asked me to last night so I thought, hmm, I will giv eit a try. So, I googled "easy pie crust recipe" after looking at the first one I googled and being humbled by all of the complicated steps.
I followed this recipe for the crust :
Mix everything together and mold the dough into a pie pan.
After this, I cut up peaches, nectarines, rasberries, and straberries into small squares and poured them into the pie crusts. After that, I drizzled maple syrup over the fruit. I baked it at 350 for about 45 minutes. And, OMG, it was unbelievable! Oh, and I used Pamelas baking mix for the crust.

Dessert Recipe
Sounds great but I didn't know strawberries or maple syrup were permitted on our diet.
They are when you are on List
They are when you are on List 5. Sounds good to me!
Oh no
They are not until you hit list 4 and maple syrup only towards end list 4 in smal quantities!
I thought that when we
I thought that when we eventually get through to list 5, that we were supposed to avoid sugar..... I guess that's the only thing that surprises me from this recipe... I wonder if agave syrup can be used or maybe sucanat to replace the white sugar.
Pie
The recipe I use for pie crust does not have sugar in it. It consists of flour, crisco (or butter if you want), salt and water. It comes out flakey every time. I think sugar isn't necessary.
