I did not mention that anyone in treatment should not drink raw milk until it is time. When you are struggling with IC, your system is not strong enough to handle anything like raw milk. So, please don't take the post as advice to start drinking it. Muy intention is to teach about all stages of IC as well as more 'global" type thinking about diet.

This a link to a recent article in the Harrisburg, PA Patriot News. There have been problems recently with raw milk from a Pennsyvania farm called the Family Cow. There have been several other outbreaks of sickness linked to raw milk in PA including farms in Lancaster and Montgomery Countys, which are most likely Amish farms. Not sure if the Family Cow is Amish or not. The farms that are licensed to sell raw milk here in PA are all inspected, but only occasionally. Just have to be very careful when using raw milk.
